Teacher Introduction

“Experimental Design” is a fundamental optional course for university students whose major is Bionic Science and Engineering. Through this course, students will have the basic principles and methods of experimental design, and they can use scientific mathematical methods to design and optimize experimental schemes for the bionic equipment and bionic material, and obtain comprehensive and valid information through scientific analysis on the experimental data, which will improve the efficiency and quality of bionic machinery design and manufacturing, and enhance fast and efficiently development of bionic mechanization and safety, high efficiency. As a general technical course, the purpose of is to learn and master all kinds of modern experiment design and optimization methods, and to provide methods and techniques for the design and manufacture of bionic machinery, the planning of bionic mechanization system and the bionic management of enterprises. The content of this course include Introduction, Orthogonal experimental design, Experimental interference control, Generalized experimental design, Uniform design and Variance analysis, total 6 chapters. It will take 30 theoretical lessons, 2 lab tutorials. Achievement evaluation includes three parts: written examination (open-book examination), experimental results and normal performance.
